Scrapbook Garden is one of a select group of stores that has qualified to offer Scrapbook Design University (SDU), an exciting new educational program developed by EK Success. The SDU curriculum covers ten topics that focus on specific scrapbooking techniques and the theories of good page design.

As part of all six SDU classes at Scrapbook Garden, you receive full-color class notes that will fit into a special SDU binder. While you are not required to complete the entire SDU program, those who do will be honored with an official Scrapbook Design University diploma!

SDU Basics/Tools
2 hours, FREE after redeeming Gift Certificate*

Learn the basics, so you can begin your scrapbooking journey! You will have the opportunity to use unique tools that can benefit you in creating scrapbook pages, and you will also design a scrapbook page that will be ready for your photos.

*Hold your space by paying $15 at time of registration.

A $15 Gift Certificate will be given to each paying student at the end of the class!

SDU Journaling/Lettering
2 hours, fee $20

Since pictures alone do not tell the story—you will learn basic ideas that will help you to add journaling to your scrapbook pages. In the second half of this class, we will help you to relax and enjoy writing in your scrapbook. Please bring a favorite photo to this class.

SDU Color
2 hours, fee $15

Have you ever seen an incredible scrapbook page and wondered what makes it so special? The answer often involves the creative use of color. After this class, you will have the confidence to select color combinations that you would have never considered using before!

SDU Layout/Matting
2 hours, fee $20

The layout portion of this class will provide you with an understanding of how and when to use photographs, journaling, titles, enhancements, color, line, lettering and shape to create great scrapbook pages.

You will also learn that matting can be used to add interest and excitement to your photos in many ways, and how matting helps to create a well-designed layout.

SDU Punches
1.5 hours, fee $10

Punches are exciting tools that cut shapes from paper. In this class, you will learn how to maintain your punches, adhere punch pieces, build shapes into images, and create punch scenes.

SDU Stickers/Titles
2.5 hours, fee $20

Learn techniques to make more effective use of stickers in your scrapbook layouts. Likewise, you will learn various ways that titles can be used to improve your scrapbook layouts.
